Wi-Fi is a high-speed wireless transmission technology using radio waves that radiate over distances usually ranging from 20 to 50 metres. The strength of the Wi-Fi signal received by your various devices depends on the layout of your home and the electrical appliances it contains.
We recommend that you place the NordnetBox high up in the room in which your main IT equipment is located.
Please note that plasterboard, stone, metal and chipboard walls interfere with the signal and reduce its strength.

Avoid simultaneously using devices that generate electromagnetic waves: Cordless phones, smartphones, tablets, wireless headsets, microwaves, wireless baby monitors, image transmitters, remote surveillance systems. These devices disrupt the signal and can cause connection breakages.
In the case of aquariums, you should be aware that:
Note that these remarks apply to any device using Wi-Fi, and not just to the NordnetBox. If you want to surf the Internet from your computer or mobile phone, you’ll need to keep them away from such disruptive equipment too.
