This article is intended for Orange Satellite with Nordnet subscribers.

You want to connect a computer or other device via Ethernet or Wi-Fi using a PLC box.

How do you want to connect your device or computer to the PLC?
Ethernet (wired)

1. Each PLC box must be plugged directly into a working 220 V socket, i.e., without being plugged into the end of an extension lead, or being plugged into a power strip.

2. Connect an Ethernet cable to the appropriate port on the first PLC box 1, and to an available Ethernet port on your NordnetBox 2 (see your NordnetBox installation guide to find out which Ethernet ports can be used).

3. Connect a second Ethernet cable to the second PLC box 3 and the other end to your computer’s network port.

Wi-Fi (wireless) - Nordnet does not sell any PLC boxes of this type

You have purchased a PLC box with Wi-Fi.

3. Read the installation guide for your PLC/Wi-Fi box to find out how to connect to the NordnetBox Wi-Fi network or how to create a new wireless network. You may be asked to press a button on the box itself and/or use a configuration interface or a dedicated app, etc.
